What BuyMax reads

When you open a product page on a supported Amazon marketplace (amazon.co.jp, amazon.com), BuyMax reads the visible page content — product title, price, category, and ASIN — inside your browser only, to calculate a max buy price and check the product against its local risk database. BuyMax does not read pages on any other site, does not run on pages you did not open, and does not collect your browsing history.

Where your data lives

Everything you save (watchlist, notes, settings) is stored locally on your device (Chrome extension storage). BuyMax has no server and never uploads your product research, watchlist, or any page content anywhere.

Network connections

BuyMax makes exactly two kinds of network requests:

1. Knowledge updates — a monthly fetch of a static JSON file (fee tables, risk database) from this GitHub Pages site. The request contains no personal data and no information about the products you view.
2. License verification — if you subscribe to Pro, payment and license checks are handled by ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com) and Stripe. We never see or store your card details. ExtensionPay receives an anonymous extension user ID and your license status. This check runs when you open the Side Panel or Options page, right after you click Subscribe, and periodically in the background (roughly hourly, via the alarms permission).

What we never do

No analytics trackers, no ads, no sale of data, no reading of pages you didn't open, no scraping or automated crawling.

Consent & removal

On first run, BuyMax asks for your confirmation before reading any page content. You can uninstall the extension at any time; local data is deleted with it.

読み取る内容

対応するAmazonマーケットプレイス（amazon.co.jp / amazon.com）の商品ページを開いたときのみ、表示されている商品タイトル・価格・カテゴリ・ASINをブラウザ内でのみ読み取り、仕入れ上限の概算計算とローカルのリスクDB照合に使います。他のサイトのページは一切読み取らず、開いていないページへのアクセスや閲覧履歴の収集も行いません。

データの保存場所

ウォッチリスト・メモ・設定はすべてお使いの端末内（Chrome拡張ストレージ）に保存されます。BuyMaxはサーバーを持たず、リサーチ内容やページ内容を外部に送信することはありません。

通信先は2つだけ

1. ナレッジ更新 — 手数料テーブル・リスクDBの静的JSONを本サイト（GitHub Pages）から月次で取得します。この通信に個人情報や閲覧中の商品情報は含まれません。
2. ライセンス確認 — Pro購読時の決済・ライセンス確認はExtensionPay（extensionpay.com）とStripeが行います。カード情報を当方が見る・保存することはありません。ExtensionPayが受け取るのは匿名の拡張ユーザーIDとライセンス状態のみです。確認はサイドパネル/設定画面を開いたとき、購読ボタン押下直後、および（alarms権限による）約1時間おきに実行されます。

行わないこと

解析トラッカー・広告・データ販売・開いていないページの読み取り・スクレイピング/自動巡回。

同意と削除

初回起動時に、ページ内容の読み取りについて確認画面で同意をいただきます。アンインストールでローカルデータは削除されます。
